OTHER TARMAC ROUNDS

ASP Tarmac Rally, May 2012
The Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally utilises many of the Classic Adelaide roads. It is an affordable rally with multiple stages and good state exposure. In 2010 Samantha had car trouble and was forced to pull out after running 5th outright over the weekend.

2012 TARGA CHAMPIONSHIP
The Australian Targa Championship is made up of three individual events:

Targa High Country, November 2011
Similar to Targa Wrest Point, the new Victorian-based event incorporates much of the region’s alpine areas including the Mt Buller road. Details TBC.

Targa Wrest Point, January/February 2012
Nicknamed Targa Lite, the two-day event is the perfect warm-up for Targa Tasmania.
Sammy and Claire surprised many fellow competitors and officials by overtaking more than half the field. Seeded 110th, the girls finished 30th outright and third in class in 2010.

Targa Tasmania, April 2012
Targa Tasmania is the ultimate road rally, arguably the best in the world. Nearly three hundred cars compete every year, with a record 370 for the 20th Anniversary in 2011. Samantha and Claire hope to improve on their 2010 results of second in class, 4th Early Modern and 25th outright from 270 cars.
